Why JoHo Insurances?

JoHo Insurances is part of JoHo and focusses mainly on international insurances. We have gained a lot of knowledge and experience about different types of insurances and use this experience to advice people about insurances.

We are part of BONAPA which is the Dutch Au pair organisation, representing a lot of au pair agencies.

Medical costs or damage: ISIS Au pair

On this page we want to tell you how to act when you need to use the benefits and services, offered by the ISIS Au pair insurance.  

Call Emergency Help Line in case of hospitalisation or high medical expenses

Do you need to go to the hospital? Do you expect that the necessary costs will be high? Or do you need to return to your home country? Please call the Emergency Help Line (Alarmcentrale) and keep the policy number with you when you make the call. 

The help line will make a file of your call, it is advisable to write down that file number in case you need to contact them again. In that case you have a reference to your previous call.

This number is available, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Medical costs

If you have a Dutch Basic Health Insurance, you have to file the claim with the Dutch health insurer first. Often this is done automatically by the healthcare provider. The claim might not be reimbursed because of the deductible (eigen risico), which you can later claim back from Goudse/ISIS.

If you do not have a basic health insurance yet, you can file the claims with ISIS directly.

Dental treatment

Dental treatment (for persons of 18 years and older) is not covered by the basic health insurance. Therefor there is no need to first file a claim with the Dutch health insurer. You can file the claim with ISIS directly. Please note that this is only valid for emergency dental treatment and only if you have medical All-in cover on the Au pair policy.

Luggage Au Pair

Please attach the original bills of the item that has suffered a damage/loss.

Procedure for filing a claim

You can file a claim either by email or by post. Please download the claim form (you can fill out the form digitally). Please attach all the relevant original bills and receipts. In case you do not have a receipt, please collect as much information regarding the claim as possible. This includes a description of the product (such as details and product type), details on the purchase of the item (when and where purchased), payment of the item (transcript of your bank account or credit card) and the theft or report (police report or damage report).


In case you would like to file the claim by email, you are required to sign and scan the filled out claim form, as well as all the original receipts. Please keep the original receipts, the insurer maintains the right to request them in a later stage. The email address of the insurer is: claims@goudse.com (link sends e-mail)


In case you file the claim by post, please make sure to make copies of all the documents you send to the insurer in case you letter is misplaced. Please send the completed claim form and all original receipts to the insurer. The postal address is:
